KGL Skin Study Center works with many pharmaceutical, cosmetic and personal product companies testing products typically sold in drug stores or department stores. These include topical drugs, cleansers, moisturizers, anti-aging products, sunscreens, make-ups and anti-acne products.
We test new products on human skin for both safety and effectiveness. The safety studies test products to determine if they cause allergy, irritation, reactions with light or acne. These studies are performed by an established method known as patch testing. Effectiveness studies determine how beneficial a new product is by evaluating the skin after several applications of new topical product. For further descriptions of these studies, click here.
